Common technical questions.
Which fleet actions are eligible under catalogue TED/845/2023?
Eligibility depends on the measure, its dates, available data and the requirements of the current standardised measure. We review the case before estimating its potential: telematics or lower consumption alone do not guarantee CAE certificates.
Who assumes the risk if ENAC verification rejects the application?
An unfavourable verification requires reviewing the reasons and whether they can be addressed. Acceptance is not guaranteed. Responsibilities, costs and payment terms must be defined in each project agreement.
Is the CAE compatible with PRTR grants or aid?
Compatibility is possible, but the aid programme, its funding and cumulation conditions must be checked. Aid financed through Spain’s FNEE is an important exception. Disclose all aid applied for or received before preparing the file.
How does carbon footprint connect with CAE?
Both can use consumption data, but they measure different things: CAE certificates attest to final energy savings, while a carbon footprint quantifies emissions. XFleet organises a shared data foundation, with the appropriate methodology and scope for each calculation.
